As an author and presenter, I get the opportunity to meet and work with leaders from all walks of life.  Some leaders simply do it better than others…and this book helped me figure out why.
No matter how talented you are, it is impossible for you to be an effective leader if no one wants to follow you.  People follow Heidy. We all have an untapped potential of leadership qualities that bubbles up inside of us from time to time. Acknowledging, developing, and mastering the qualities that a great leader must have however,  poses quite a challenge.   In the book Hop on the Clue Bus, Heidy LaFleur creatively takes the concept of leadership to a whole different level and presents it in a fun-to-read, easy-to- apply way.  Her natural insight and practical experience shines brilliantly through the text.
Thank you Heidy for showing us how to make good leaders great and great leaders better!

Thanks for being this principal and person Heidy - your coach nailed it in that letter, it was beautiful....

Heidy has nailed it.  This book is absolutely the most effective way to run a school and to live your life!  As a social worker, I teach students that they can always adjust their attitude when there is a problem situation.  It is truly amazing to have a leader who is always able to find the positives in situations and people.  Living this way, Heidy has created an environment where people want to come to work.  It is nice to know that we are supported by her and that she is here to help us grow in our weak areas (because we all have them).  If more people used Common Sense and “Hopped on the Clue Bus” the world would be a better place.
